Trugreen Lawn Care Has Satisfied Customers
-

Winterizing Lawns Posted under Grasses, Lawn Care, Turf grass By August, lawn winterizing products are fairly easy to find in the lawn and garden section of retail stores. This may lead one to think that winterizing is a common practice. There are, however, misconceptions associated with this practice that the following information should help to clarify. Cool- & Warm-Season Turfgrass First of all, both cool- and warm-season turfgrasses grow in South Carolina, and most winte Lawn Care Tips…

Perennials: Prune back chrysanthemums as soon as they finish blooming. Finish cutting down all perennials except those with interesting seed heads, which can be left for winter interest and hungry birds. Rake up and destroy fallen leaves under rose bushes to reduce the carryover of insect and disease problems. Prepare to mound up soil to 10 to 12 inches around the base of hybrid teas after the ground has cooled completely. If rambling rose canes are waving in the wind tie them together but do Lawn Care Tips…

With the economy slowing, more and more homes are being foreclosed upon. As they sit there uninhabited, someone has to maintain them or they will fall into disrepair. Mowing foreclosed homes is easy work. There is no homeowner to complain about the job and it gives you a chance to make first contact with the new homeowner when they move in. This is exactly what our friend jim is doing. In fact, it’s how he got his start in lawn care. He wrote “I’m Just starting my lawn care service and to be h Lawn Care Tips…

I don’t mind lawn care companies working like everyone else, but at 8 in the morning with three giant lawnmower machines that look like they belong on a farm not a suburban neighborhood, the lawn care companies rip up the lawns and disrupt the community.Shouldn’t they be licensed and regulated?Who are these companies? They operate with crews of workers and while they care about one person’s lawns, they are ALWAYS disrespectful to the other people’s lawns who have not hired them.A few months ago, Lawn Care Tips…

The concept of a “lawn treatment” or “grass treatment“is a confusing one to many of you folks. I know that clever lawn care marketers want you to think so, but treating your lawn is not as simple as buying a bag of fertilizer and throwing it down a few times per year. There is a specific lawns treatment for just about any lawn problem, but few yards require all of them be used every single year. As many of you know, I am not a fan of the “throw the kitchen sink at it” approach. I prefer a ba Lawn Care Tips…

The Big Autumn Cleanup
I think that’s a myth. There’s no such thing. I’m sure people go out to do a big cleanup every Autumn…you know the kind, when the kids jump in the huge piles of leaves, but it’s unrealistic to think that you don’t have to keep cleaning all season long. I have already done two big cleanups. Each time, I blew out all the gardens, I mowed the lawn and sucked up all the leaves. I also got up all the twigs off the grass. I am betting that I have to do this at least one more time, if I want to get
Source: www.jaygaulard.com

Don’t Forget To Lay Down Your Final Lawn Treatment This Fall
It’s not too late to get that final lawn treatment down before old man winter pours on the snow. In fact, now is an ideal time to start thinking about next year. A winterizer lawn treatment is important for the overall health of your turf. The reason for this is that snow melts in spring (obviously) and soaks the winterizing fertilizer right down into the soil where the grass can use it to recover. A solid winterizing lawn treatment will ensure your lawn is the first to green up when warmer tem
Source: chicagolawncompany.com

3 month before and after lawn care customer retention letter sample.
One important thing to remember is that most lawn care customers who are going to cancel service will cancel it shortly after signing up with you. From another post, a forum member who studied this said “When researching our cancellation history I found that most of the cancelled lawn care accounts had been cancelled within the first 3-4 months. If they had been more informed from the beginning, maybe we could have saved the sale.” So if we know that most customers who cancel, tend to canc
Source: lawnchat.com

The Smell of Good Dirt
For me, this fall has been focused on getting my lawn re-established after having it graded over the summer. Following my own advice, I evened out most of the lumps and bumps by top-dressing and then sowed grass seed. For the top-dressing, I opted to purchase a truckload of blended topsoil mix. It’s always made my plants happy but admittedly, as my young neighbor put it, “It smells like a trash can.” Honestly, smelling like a trash can has never stopped me before. Almost a month later, my
Source: www.dannylipford.com

Gardening: Gardening Tools - An Overview I think you know very well about the rules and regulations to keep your plants to grow healthy in your garden. For getting sustainable growth of your garden plants you do require good soil quality, sunlight and sufficient water. Although these items have been gifted by nature, you ought to require modern gardening tools to upkeep your garden in a good state. Gardening tools help a lot in taking care of your plants as well as the good growing condi Lawn Care Tips…

If you are looking to provide snow plowing services or property management services to home owners, here is a great sample letter you can send out in fall to line up potential customers. Tom wrote on the Gopher Lawn Care Business Forum “I provide property care taking and snow removal service during the non lawn season. Here is a letter I sent out to over 200 homeowners. Most of the homeowners don’t permanently live here, but have a second home here.
